Tom Hughston is Chief Executive Officer and Partner of Roach Howard Smith & Barton. He serves on the Board of Directors and specializes in commercial insurance production. In 1991, he joined the firm and was appointed to the Board of Directors in 1995.
Tom is active in the insurance industry, currently as a member of the Board of Directors of The Council of Insurance Agents & Brokers (“CIAB”), the premier trade association representing leading domestic and international commercial insurance agents and brokers, and on the agency advisory council of two regional insurance companies. He is a past board member of the Independent Agents of Dallas and is currently the firm’s representative for Assurex Global, the world’s largest privately held brokerage group.
Tom graduated from the University of Texas at Austin in 1986, where he received a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Finance.
