North Dallas Chamber Appoints Stacey Miller to Board of Directors

DALLAS, Texas – Stacey Miller, a Vice President of Roach Howard Smith & Barton, has been appointed to the North Dallas Chamber of Commerce (“NDCC”) Board of Directors.

As an NDCC-appointed director, Miller will be involved in setting chamber policy on everything from internal financial and audit procedures to local political issues. She will initially serve a one-year term after which she will be asked to serve a three-year term as an elected director.

The NDCC Board of Directors has 45 voting directors, 30 of which are member elected and 15 board-appointed. The NDCC currently boasts a membership of 900 and was established in 1954 making it one of Dallas’ oldest nonprofit business associations.

Miller is a Vice President at Roach Howard Smith & Barton a leading independent insurance brokerage firm providing business insurance solutions to companies of all sizes and personal insurance to individuals and families. Her professional background includes more than 20 years experience in the insurance industry during which she has specialized primarily in claims management and risk control.

Stacey holds several industry designations, which include her Associate in Risk Management (ARM) and Associate in Claims (AIC) designations in addition to holding a Real Estate license. She is a member of the Independent Insurance Agents Association, the Dallas Claims Association and Public Risk Insurance Management Association (PRIMA).

Miller is active in the North Texas community where she volunteers for Attitudes & Attire, a nonprofit agency dedicated to promoting personal growth for women seeking self-sufficiency, and is a member of eWomenNetwork, a network of female business owners and professionals dedicated to connecting and promoting women and their business on local national and global levels.
