RHSB Adds New Commerical Producer Kent McClenahan to Jewelers Specialty Practice Group Release Date: January 2010Kent McClenahan joined Roach Howard Smith & Barton as a Vice President, and leads the Jewelers Practice Group in the Dallas office. With his background in law enforcement and nearly three decades of experience specializing in this industry, Kent is uniquely positioned to address the risk and insurance needs of commercial jewelers. Kent began his career as a police officer for the City of Las Cruces, New Mexico before moving to Arlington, Texas. After five years with the Arlington Police Department, he leveraged his security experience into a career in risk management, specializing in jewelers and related markets. Kent developed his specialty in this niche market over 28 years with various local insurance brokers. Kent holds a Bachelor’s degree in Police Science from New Mexico State University, as well as a Master’s degree in Criminal Justice from Sam Houston State University. Along with Steve Konetzke in San Antonio, Kent is launching a new specialty practice group at Roach Howard Smith & Barton which will focus on providing insurance products and risk management services to the jewelry industry. < Back to News |
