A life-long Texan, John Hall joined RHSB with a focus on commercial insurance production in 2002. With nearly four decades of experience in both the wholesale and retail sectors of the industry, John’s focus is on providing middle-market companies with practical solutions for their risk management needs, drawing on extensive experience in the real estate, food, healthcare, and non-profit sectors.
More recently, John has gravitated to educating larger middle-market businesses on the advantages of alternative funding programs (captives) and other specialized products such as Crisis Recovery/Product Contamination Insurance for the ever-changing food industry. His role as the internal resource for alternative-funded and captive insurance programs highlights his leadership in specialized areas.
John became a principal with RHSB in 2004, was appointed to RHSB’s Board of Directors in 2011, and currently serves as corporate secretary. He also coordinates recruiting efforts for RHSB in finding new sales professionals for the growing firm. His deep commitment to developing and mentoring younger producers in the early stages of their careers underscores his dedication to nurturing the next generation of leaders within the industry.
John holds a BBA from the University of Texas at Austin and has earned a Master’s degree in Organizational Management from Dallas Baptist University. He is a long-time member of the Salesmanship Club of Dallas and Park Cities Baptist Church.
John & his wife, Katherine, have three daughters.
