Jonathan Reaves is the Practice Leader for Employee Benefits at RHSB, where he leads strategic consulting and client advocacy. With deep expertise in self-funded health plans, risk management, and cost-containment strategies, he partners with organizations to design innovative benefits programs that drive financial efficiency and enhance employee well-being.

With a strong background and over 20 years in benefits consulting, Jonathan brings a results-driven approach to advising middle market employers. He focuses on aligning benefits strategies with business objectives, leveraging analytics, underwriting insights, and emerging market trends to optimize plan performance. Under his leadership, the Employee Benefits practice at RHSB is dedicated to delivering best-in-class solutions that help clients navigate rising healthcare costs, regulatory complexities, and workforce expectations.

Prior to joining RHSB, Jonathan successfully built and managed a high-performing insurance agency in the Dallas market. His expertise in captives, stop-loss strategies, pharmacy cost containment, and alternative funding arrangements enables him to provide customized solutions that deliver measurable savings.

In addition to leading the employee benefits practice, Jonathan plays a key role in mentoring and developing sales producers, helping drive new business growth, and strengthening RHSB’s market position. As an active member of the Dallas business community and a current member of the Rowlett City Council, he brings a unique perspective on the intersection of public policy, employer-sponsored healthcare, and economic development.
